I love lipstick, so, as soon as I saw these products I was desperate to get hold of them. Makeup Revolution do some brilliant deals on their website so I managed to buy all five for the price of four with this deal. Each lipstick is £2.99 each and, in my opinion, well worth the price.
When you look at these lipsticks you can clearly see that they are dupes for Too Faced Melted Lipsticks and that's just brilliant. I can't compare the two products as I don't own any of the Melted Lipsticks but if they're anything as good as the Lip Lavas I may invest in one or two.
The boxes that the lipsticks come in are lovely. They clearly show which colours are which whilst still being chic and eye catching. The actual lipsticks are a very clever idea. As the lipstick is liquid they are in plastic tubes which are very easy to use and you can control just how much product you want to use. The applicator is made of a very stiff felt-like material in a doe foot shape. The product glides smoothly off it and onto your lips almost effortlessly and the shape follows the natural shape of your lips really well.
The actual products are lovely. I was a little worried that they might dry out my lips as they are quite cheap but I was pleasantly surprised. They are very smooth and moisturising on the lips and they last quite a while (as long as you don't rub it off by eating or drinking too often.) They aren't greasy or sticky and they stick to your lips and don't end up all over your mouth by the end of the day. You only need a small amount of product to cover your lips as the colour is very opaque. The five different colours are Firestorm, Forgiven, Shockwave, Tremor and Unleash. There is a good mix of bright and neutral tones in the collection which is great as you can wear them for any look.
Overall, I am very impressed with these products. They are everything I wanted them to be and more and I can't wait to use them in future looks and on a day to day basis.

Makeup Revolution Blush Palette // Sugar and Spice
The Makeup Revolution Blush Palettes all look so appealing with such a large range of colours, but the Sugar and Spice Palette drew me in the most. I bought this palette from Superdrug for just £6.00 which is a really good price as the product is such high quality.
When I saw this product on the shelf I just had to pick it up. I looked at the other blush palettes that the brand have to offer and this was the one I liked the most. However I still want to buy a few more as they are all so beautiful.
The packaging is so sleek. It's quite big so isn't perfect for travelling but that's not what I bought it for so that doesn't bother me. The mirror in the lid is perfect if you don't have a mirror to hand as it is large. The product is in quite large circles which means that you get a fair amount of blush for the price.
The quality of these products is just amazing. The colours are so opaque and vibrant. My favourites are the second along on the top row and the one below it. I use the darker, brownish colour as a bronzer and the pink as a blush almost everyday when I'm just wearing a toned down look. I have never had any problems applying or blending these products with the brushes I use and they aren't dusty at all, even the glittery shades. You do only get a little product on your brush but that's really all you need as the blushes are so highly pigmented.
Overall I am very impressed with these products and will definitely be buying a few more of these palettes when I get the money. I highly reccmends the palette to anyone who loves to have a little colour in their cheeks.

Top 4 // Spring Nail Polishes
Pastel nail polish is just perfect and what better time to wear it than spring. I have a lot of nail polish colours that I love, but considering it's spring time, I thought I'd share the brighter more floral ones with you.
![]() |
From Left to Right: Barry M Sugar Apple, Rimmel London Lose Your Lingerie, Barry M Mint Green, Barry M Berry Ice Cream. |
Barry M Sugar Apple - This is a gelly polish and to be honest I find the consistency a little gloopy, however this could be because of how old it is. The colour is just beautiful. A really light baby blue with a lovely shine is just brilliant for the spring.
Rimmel London Lose Your Lingerie - This polish isn't only one of my favourites for spring but also one of my all time favourites. Not only is the colour such a lovely pearl pink but the consistency is just brilliant. It glides on like a dream and dries in such a smooth layer.
Barry M Mint Green - Once you have managed to layer up the nail polish enough for it to be opaque, the colour is gorgeous. The mint green is so bright and floral, perfect for the spring. The consistency is really nice too and glides on and dries perfectly.
Barry M Berry Ice Cream - This is very similar to the mint green in the way that you have to apply a few coats but once you have it is beautiful. The consistency is lovely and it looks just like ice cream.
